Garden Route highlights including quality Safaris
with the focus on 2 Parks: Addo Elephant Park and
Schotia Private Game Reseve. Less time is spent
on the actual Garden Route Section."
Routing:
Cape Town – Paarl – Worcester - Montagu
– Barrydale to Oudtshoorn: Also known as Route
62.
Day 1:
We depart from Cape Town to head for Worcester,
Barrydale, and Ladysmith to Oudtshoorn. The Karoo
region is an area characterized by vast plains,
typical hills and picturesque sunsets. This is a
rugged world – “big sky country”
– a region of surprises known as the "Little
Karoo." A visit to a Premier Ostrich Show Farm
will be one of the highlights on Day One.
Overnight in Oudtshoorn - Cul De Sac Guesthouse

Oudtshoorn - De Rust – Uniondale - Route 62,
Joubertina - N2 - PE to ADDO ELEPHANT PARK
Day 2:
Today we visit the Cango Caves for a guided tour.
A visit to the Crocodile Ranch and Cheetahland follows.
Our journey goes through the Langkloof (continue
on Route 62) – the spectacular apple growing
area – up to Port Elizabeth and to ADDO ELEPHANT
PARK.
We will overnight in ADDO PARK or a Guest House
- depending on availability.

Addo and Schotia
Day 3:
Today we explore Addo Elephant Park in our search
for the Big 5. We will do a game drive after breakfast
to about lunch time before we leave for Schotia
Safari’s where you will go on a Safari on
an open Safari Landrover truck at 15H00. You will
also enjoy your evening meal at Schotia and return
at about 21h00 .This trip is also known as the TOOTH
AND CLAW SAFARIS. You will overnight in Addo Village
or in Addo again.
Routing:
ADDO - Port Elizabeth - Tsitsikamma National park
- Plettenberg Bay to Knysna
Day 4:
After breakfast and our last drive in ADDO we will
leave for the Tsitsikamma National Park to include
a visit to the Storms River Mouth and the famous
Bloukrans Bridge – highest bungy in the world.
You will travel via Plettenberg Bay to overnight
in Knysna: Knysna Manor House or similar.
Routing:
Knysna – Wilderness - Mossel Bay – Albertinia
– Swellendam - Cape Town
Day 5:
We explore our way back to Cape Town by visiting
Wilderness and Mossel Bay. This town will offer
us the old Post Office Tree, and a stroll through
the historically interesting Maritime Museum. We
complete our tour late afternoon in Cape Town.
The
price for the above tour is: R7
450.00 per person sharing. Single supplement
of R650 per person.
This
includes: Bed and Breakfast, all Entrance Fees (1
Dinner included) and all Game Drives mentioned in
Addo as well as the Private Safari in Schotia.
This excludes: Lunch, Dinners and Drinks.
