Meerkatmagic believes that all knowledge should be shared and enjoyed, and not reserved for a select few. Education is therefore an integral part of Meerkatmagic.

Meerkatmagic achieves this by the habituation of wildlife using specialised ethical habituation techniques, that preserve the wildness of animals for very close unobtrusive observation.

Visitors to Meerkatmagic become part of the wildlife world of South Africa, but do not influence it. The visitor will not be treated as an outsider who is looking "in", as is the case with wildlife observation from a vehicle.

Meerkatmagic generates employment opportunities, through tourism activities leading to a sustainable social upliftment. One important form is through curio/artwork projects that Meerkatmagic is involved with.
