How to plan your first visit to South Africa and The Garden Route:

From our vast experience, we have found that most visitors to South Africa will want to try all the following highlights:

A ) Cape Town Tours, incl. Cape Town City Tours and all its attractions, a Table Mountain Tour and a Cape Peninsula Tour to Cape Point.

B ) The Garden Route Tour and

C ) A visit to at least one Big Five Game Park.

To be able to do all of these highlights will obviously depend on the duration of your stay in South Africa. We have provided you with a guideline of what you will be able to do and see in South Africa, depending on the duration of your South African Holiday.

4 days duration:
This is enough time to explore Cape Town and it’s surroundings. This might not be quite enough time to experience a Garden Route Tour, but you will be able to concentrate on The Mother City, incl. Cape Town City Tours and all its attractions, a Table Mountain Tour and a Full Cape Peninsula Tour to Cape Point. You might even be able to squeeze in a Tour of The Cape Winelands and visit some Wine Estates in Paarl and Stellenbosch, and taste some of South Africa’s most prestigious wines.

5 – 8 days duration:
A holiday of this duration will most definitely make it possible for you to do a fantastic Tour of The South African Garden Route. Visiting the Garden Route is an absolute must, and millions of visitors from all over the world will confirm that!

The shortest duration for a Garden Route Tour that we suggest is for 3 days and 2 nights. This means that if you are pushed for time, but you really want to try to see everything, then we can even try to fit in The Cape Town City Tour, The Table Mountain Tour, The Cape Peninsula Tour to Cape Point, or even a Winelands Tour as well for a full 6 Day Package. However, we suggest that, if possible, you plan for enough time to take a nice and relaxed 4 Days, 3 Nights Garden Route Tour to fully experience and enjoy this magnificent stretch of land.

10 + days duration:
This is the most ideal length of time to enjoy a full and unforgettable tour package of The Garden Route, Cape Town and it’s magnificent surroundings. We suggest that you spend 3 days in Cape Town, to enjoy the Cape Town City Tour, a Table Mountain Tour, a Cape Peninsula Tour to Cape point and maybe even a fantastic Cape Winelands Tour of Paarl and Stellenbosch or a Cape Town Township Tour.

To experience the Garden Route Tour, we suggest that you do The 4 Day, One Way Garden Route Tour to the City of Port Elizabeth.
